Very Dry Skin/Sebostase – Description
Generally this uncomfortable dryness tends to become apparent in ones 30‘s; however poor diet, the environment and lifestyle can negatively influence the skins moisture content even in the earlier years. The skin also tends to appear less firm due to lack of moisture and fine lines soon become apparent.
On the surface of the skin our natural moisture evaporates and the skin has no means of replenishing it. A well hydrated skin repairs itself more effectively; the metabolic functions are more efficient e.g. toxins are more easily disposed of and as a result the skin shows fewer signs of aging.

Be sure to:
drink 8 glasses of water per day
Protect your skin from the effects of harsh weather conditions, radiators and air conditioners.
Use sun protection products without: mineral oils, chemical preservatives, chemical sunscreens, fragrances and colorants that disturb the efficient functioning of the skin and can therefore cause dehydration.
Use skin compatible or skin identical products for a healthy well hydrated skin.

Excessive sun exposure
Over use of sun beds/solarium
Smoking
Excessive use of alcohol
